Welcome to the Ormsby Centre a name associated with the caring industry since 1981!

As with any vibrant and growing organisation, the Ormsby Centre has been recently up dated and the skills base amongst the staff improved. This improvement has not been limited to staff, the entire facility has been refurbished in planned stages as not to disrupt the environment of the patients.

As befits a home of this size, our facilities for the 60 residents are exceptional. Ensuite bathing / showering facilities, carpeting to all our bedrooms, reading and television areas and a large, well protected garden and sun terrace affording everyone a choice of indoor / outdoor environment and other entertainment choices.

Food is always a focus point of any nursing home. We believe that in the respect the Ormsby Centre has an enviable reputation for providing wholesome "home cooked meals" with a choice of a full cooked breakfast, two main courses for lunch, delicious puddings and fruit and cake for afternoon tea - really a home environment created and maintained by the exceptional staff of the Ormsby Centre.

Combining the long experience of the past and the modern equipment and care planning techniques we achieve high levels of care and comfort for our residents whatever their physical / mental challenges. We practice Patient Centred Caring and achieve very satisfactory results.
