The Ormsby Centre is a privately owned and operated specialist Nursing Home caring for clients aged 40 plus suffering from some degree of functional mental disorder (Alzheimer's disease, brain damage and other dementia's).

Established in 1981 the Ormsby Centre is registered with our governing body to care for up to 60 clients. An experienced team of qualified nurse's (both Registered Mental Nurse's and Registered General Nurse's) together with a team of dedicated carer's are always on hand.

An individualised approach to care is used for each client and care needs identified and incorporated into the clients care plan under the control of a named nurse.

The care plan is developed in conjunction with the client, relatives and friends, the clients Social Worker, Doctors, Consultants and other outside agencies. Social Care is also addressed and an extensive program of activities is used within the Centre.

Transport and arrangements for all specialist medical appointments are made for the residents by the Ormsby Centre.
We plan and coordinate the care of the individuals making the Ormsby Centre their home ensuring a good level of continuing care for these, the most vulnerable members of our society.
